Most painting companies stop at paint and hand the rest to somebody else. We hang the sheetrock, tape it, plaster it, insulate behind it, waterproof the outside of it, and then we paint it.

Walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinetry and stairwells. Furniture covered, floors papered, edges cut by hand.

Clapboard, shingle, stucco and brick. Scraped, primed and coated to hold up through a New England winter.

Siding, roofs, decks and walkways. Low pressure where pressure would do damage.

Foundations, masonry and building envelopes sealed against water before it finds a way in.

Skim coat, veneer plaster, ceiling repairs and full rooms. Flat walls that do not telegraph under paint.

Open and closed cell foam in new framing, additions and retrofits, sealed tight before the walls close up.

Hung, taped and finished to a paint-ready surface, from a single patch to an entire floor.
We work with Surf Pro.Surface preparation and coating systems chosen for the job in front of us, not whatever is on the truck.
Houses, condos, offices and storefronts finished across Barrington, Providence, Seekonk, Fall River, Swansea and the towns around them.
Salt air, wind off the bay, sun on the south elevation and moisture coming up through the foundation. A finish that lasts ten years inland can fail in three near the water. We prep for the exposure the house actually has.
Mahogany decking, entry doors and garage doors get sanded, stained and clear-coated so the grain stays visible and the wood stays protected.

Clips from recent jobs, posted straight from our Facebook page. Sound on if you want to hear what a spray rig sounds like at seven in the morning.
We work around your hours, not ours. Restaurants painted before the doors open, offices done after five, retail floors and warehouses coated on weekends. If something has to be handled tonight, the phone is answered.
The name on the van has both of us on it, so one of us is on almost every job.
Val Arruda started painting houses in southeastern Massachusetts more than 31 years ago and never handed the work off. The company still runs the same way: our own crew, our own equipment, and the same people on the last day of a job as on the first. Ask for the owner and you get the owner.
Call or email with the town, the surface and roughly when you want it done, and we will come look at it. Interior, exterior, residential or commercial.
